Maria Becerra lanza «Infinitos como el mar»

Maria Becerra presents “Infinitos como el mar”, the second episode in the emotional journey of her character Shanina, who now finds herself in a dangerous ballad where love turns into obsession.

Following the success of Ramen para dos—the first chapter of this musical and audiovisual series, with over 70 million streams across platforms and a widely acclaimed live performance alongside Paulo Londra at Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena—Maria continues to expand the universe of Shanina, her most emotional, extreme, and dark alter ego.

In this new chapter, Shanina dives into a deeper, more perilous obsession. She falls in love with a marginal, seductive, and violent man, and begins to mimic him—adopting his habits, his surroundings, and his darkness. This toxic bond not only consumes her, but transforms her. What begins as love soon descends into delirium.

"That’s why I’ll love you, right or wrong, no one will understand, we’ll be infinite like the sea," sings Shanina as she’s dragged in chains behind a rusted pickup truck through the streets. Extreme violence—styled with anime-inspired aesthetics—unfolds within a twisted love story driven by possession, jealousy, and self-erasure.

The music video, directed by Diego Peskins and produced by Virgen Films, blends real-life settings with anime visuals, crafting a world where the fantastical and the marginal collide. From the mechanic’s garage of this new character to gritty urban landscapes, every scene is imbued with a sensual, dangerous atmosphere.

The yandere concept—a manga and anime archetype of a sweet yet unhinged character capable of extreme acts for love—is central to this new phase of Shanina. With an intense narrative, radical visuals, and a hyper-feminine yet violent aesthetic, Maria Becerra once again breaks the mold, telling love stories where romance isn’t always healthy.
