Maria Becerra has over 18 million monthly listeners on Spotify, more than 5 million subscribers on her official YouTube channel, and surpasses 12 billion views across all her music videos.
Throughout 2024, she solidified her position as one of the most influential artists in Latin music. In January, she performed at the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square, in front of over 50,000 people. The following month, she was invited to serve as a judge at the Viña del Mar Festival, where she also headlined the closing show of the most prestigious Spanish-language event in the region.
In March, she made history by becoming the first Argentine female artist to perform at the iconic River Plate Stadium, with two sold-out shows in record time, drawing over 130,000 fans. In April, she made her debut on the Coachella Festival stage in Los Angeles, invited by J Balvin to perform their global hit "¿Qué Más Pues?". In May, she released Imán, and in October she shared Sexo Es La Moda alongside Yandel, as well as Agora, a trilingual ballad in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
Closing 2024, she surprised fans with a bilingual version of Jingle Bell Rock, an official adaptation in which she added her voice to Bobby Helms’ historic recording, incorporating new verses in Spanish.
In March 2025, she released Tatú, a romantic ballad recorded live in front of 500,000 people during the Fiesta de la Confluencia in Neuquén. In May, she unveiled Ramen Para Dos, an R&B ballad featuring Paulo Londra, where she introduced Shanina — the first of several alter egos that form the conceptual universe of her upcoming album. In July, she released Infinitos como el mar, the visual continuation of that storyline.
In August, she made her acting debut in En el barro, a Netflix original series, and released 7 vidas, the song that serves as the show’s theme and embodies the emotional universe of Gladys, one of the characters in this new conceptual phase. In October, she unveiled JoJo —the project’s most provocative alter ego— and in November released Quimera, her third studio album and the most conceptual, intimate, and transformative work of her career. In December, she officially presented the album at Estadio River Plate with a fully sold-out 360° show attended by more than 170,000 people, becoming the only Argentine woman to perform at the stadium at full capacity.
