MARIA BECERRA ANNOUNCES HER NEW ALBUM “QUIMERA” AND RELEASES “JOJO”

Maria Becerra announces her new album QUIMERA set for release on November 20, and unveils JOJO the first chapter of a conceptual trilogy dedicated to one of her most provocative characters.

In this new project, the Argentine artist delves into different alter egos that embody unique emotions, styles, and worlds, building an artistic narrative that has already begun to unfold through her previous releases. JOJO is the third alter ego she officially introduces, and its arrival marks the countdown to Maria’s two 360° shows at River Plate Stadium on December 12 and 13.

JOJO embodies sensuality, dominance, and fiery power. Magnetic, daring, and nocturnal, she is a figure who doesn’t need to shout to be noticed. The song that bears her name serves as her introduction — a track with a strong identity, produced by XROSS alongside Maria, who has been increasingly involved in the production of her own music.

The music video amplifies this world with a powerful visual concept marked by futuristic aesthetics and an underlying nocturnal energy. Directed by Diego Peskins and produced by Virgen Films, the video stems from an original idea by the artist herself. There, Jojo unfolds as a hypnotic presence that moves with desire, precision, and power.

With this announcement, Maria also revealed part of the tracklist of her new conceptual work, where she explores different sonic and emotional worlds through her alter egos. The official presentation of QUIMERA will take place with two 360° shows at River Plate Stadium — on December 11 and 12. With these concerts, Maria becomes the first Argentine female artist to perform four solo shows at River, marking a new milestone in her career and in the history of Argentine music.
